The Discovering STEM in ACES Program (DSAP) is a one week (July 14-20, 2024) in campus program that exposes students to immersive experiences to showcase what the College of Agricultural, Consumer, and Environmental Sciences (ACES) has to offer. Each student will participate in a series of STEM-related learning activities designed to support their understanding of how food, agriculture, human, and environmental systems are connected to their career goals.

We strongly encourage the participation of traditionally underrepresented ethnic minority groups, under-resourced communities, students with disabilities, and/or urban areas to apply.
Participation in the Discovering STEM in ACES Program (DSAP) does not guarantee admission to the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
Program Requirements
- In state (Illinois) high school students only.
- Applicants must be current high school sophomores (10th) or juniors (11th).
- Rank top 25%; and have a B average in Science (natural sciences), Math and English.
- Display an interest in learning about STEM areas in required online application writing prompts.
- Commit to the program dates Sunday: July 14-Saturday: July 20, 2024.

- If admitted, there will be a non-refundable $50 programmatic fee.
